Van Halen's "A Different Kind Of Truth" Details

I've given "Truth" a few listens and it's not growing on me. Actually, it's pretty weak IMHO. I'll stick with the early VH.

Another case of " instant gratification " . Ah the younger generation . I have listened to it about 20 times now and am convinced it is a monster !

The vinyl has a different mix than the cd. Eddie wanted the dynamics right for the lp. He, With producer John Shanks, Worked overtime to get it right. To my ears, It's way better. Analog vibe.

The time they spent doing it right really pays off IMHO. I'm going to skip the CD and enjoy the vinyl and digital releases. I read somewhere the upcoming vinyl release will be pressed on red vinyl.

I love this album--it's a musical time machine.

I'm suprised how much I like this Lp. I hate to admit it, but I like it better than Fair Warning. Can't wait to hear it on vinyl!
