Well it seems to be real, I received the following reply from the seller:

David: i do not have photos but they look exactly like other 2ce's with
the maple trim and black cloth. i am the second owner and have the owner's
manual. they are rarely if ever used as i have them in a fourth system. i
am in simsbury, ct.

There's a pair of 2ci in Boston for $450. I'm tempted but don't have the space to set them up properly.
