Looking to know what the fair value would be for a pair of Vandersteen 2CE (not signatures). Ones I'm looking at are near mint condition, factory stands, oak, black grills. Thanks for the advice!

I’ve seen everything from 300 to over 1,000. Great speakers. If me, I’d want to be under 600, if I were in the market. If under 500, run!!!

I got $750 for mine two years ago. Hard to sell, but an incredible speaker. Maybe my favorite.

Did you wind up buying them? You pretty much described a pair I have boxed up, have stands, and eventually will make it back into rotation. Though they don't go the deepest in bass, the 2CE does everything well and especially in regards to imaging. I'd have a hard time parting with mine for less than 1K, wondering what would I get for that much that's equal or better? The Vandys are really sweet, in fact my jazz guru friend nicknamed them Vandersweets
