Hello everyone, I have a rather specific inquiry regarding the Velodyne HGS 18. I bought the subwoofer a few months ago, but there are certain frequencies that make the sub bottom out, (even with gain at less than one) which should essentially not be happening. Because there are lower frequencies than the ones noted that the sub can handle at 4-6 on the gain knob. The driver itself appears to be in excellent condition. And the amplifier had been refurbished within the last 2 years allegedly. Me and fellow ak'er AudioFreak71 troubleshot the sub and came to the consensus that it's most likely the servo. I was hoping that anyone on here might know the location of a oem working servo, or a valid replacement for said servo might be located. There was an oem driver and servo listed on ebay a month or so ago that went for about $170 USD but I regrettably did not have the funds at the time. If anyone has a word on where to acquire saidbitems it would be greatly appreciated. It pains me to have an idea on this beasts potential, and being unable to unleash its power.
