I wish I were rich, I'd buy these just to give them a listen

Dang interesting technics speakers.

[carcrazy]

Now that would be cool! Wish I were closer, I still have some room on my line of credit.

[superdog]

Looks very interesting.Never have seen the likes before.Wonder what he's looking to get,not that I can help him out any.

[Galaxie65]

I spoke with the guy, very nice and knowledgable indeed! Too bad he only has the 1 Technics SB10000, it's really a nice piece. He also have some La Scala's I believe, he might have sold them by now though. Sure like the pics, If I had the cash I would have loved to try them out too. I called on the ad since I spied the Klipsh in one of his pics.

For reference later so this thread is not irrelevant.

[tubed]

The ad is misleading and irrelevant since there's only one speaker, IMO.

[bryblob]

wow, I've seen pictures of that technics bass exciter bet never realized it was that big.

[superdog]

Wonder what happened to the other.Pretty much useless if they are that rare and there is only one speaker.

[halo71]

I wonder as well, how the heck do you just come across one of those!:scratch2: Would make a killer center channel I guess.

[68custom]

only one? only good for the mono crowd, not worth half as much as a pair IMO.

[Jcricket]

Well, what do you folks think this is actually worth as a single? MAybe $500? $1k, $200?
Any opinions on this?

[Ken Boyd]

Great speakers if it was a pair, I personally like the SB-9500's better!

[Susurus]

Fishkillers? Ouch.

And yes they are that rare. Don't expect to find a matching orphan...

.

[Jon.]

"...all the fish were dead after the movie."

Wow. If I hadn't just finished my coffee, it'd be all over my keyboard now.

[Exciter]

Fishkiller?

ok, i Have no fishes, but one Technics SST-25Hz

[Ken Boyd]

I don't know if I beleive the story about the speaker killing the fish! I have never heard of fish kill offs in the ocean after a large undersea earthquake.

I have fish and have kept them almost my entire life. If those fish died it was because of what he was smokin when he played movie or music or whatever it was.
