Vintage Sansui 771 Stereo Receiver Lights No Power

Hey guys, I wanted to ask a question and hopefully someone can help me. I have had a beautiful vintage Sansui 771 stereo receiver for many years now. It plays and looks great. All of the lights on the front panel were working but one of them would go out after it was powered on awhile. I decided to open it up and see if I could fix it. I really didn't find anything wrong other than the fuse type holder might have been a little loose. I squeezed the top holger prongs together a little with a pair of small pliers and also retouched the solder joints on the back of the board. After that I turned the receiver on and now none of the lights work. I'm not sure what happened. I don't have a schematic but will try to find one to download. Has anyone ever seen this issue and please can you help or give me a starting point. The receiver is too nice and would be beautiful to get the lights working. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Find a schematic. You probably inadvertently blew the lamp circuit fuse.

This subject has been posted somewhat regularly over the years and it has usually been the dial lamp circuit fuse.

Not all receivers have fuses so yeah, you might just have to trace it out with an ohm meter to see where the power stops.
 
Thanks for everyone's help. After I downloaded the schematics I traced it back to the F05 (5amp) fuse and found it blown. After checking for shorts I used a jumper and jumped it out and found that to be the issue. I am now trying to find a replacement. It's an axial fast blow 5Amp, 75"L fuse by Toyo. Thanks so much for your help.

That would be a 5x20mm fuse. Plenty on Digikey and Mouser.
Hint: if the unit was made in Japan, no measurements are going to be imperial…
