Goodaye all
Thing about it most of my Sansui gear is run from one PC so l will will explain.
My main I7 PC feeds Topping D50 dac that feeds either my AU70 or AU717 switched into my Marantz DS820 speakers.
This is in the study.
With a flick of the switch the D50 can feed the AU505 in the family room that drives a pair of Kef Concerto's
It also has a PC that feeds a cheaper dac that l can use to watch stereo concerts through the AU505
There is a Sony AV receiver for surround sound.
The bedroom AU505 and TU505 have a chromecast connected and l cast from my phone or PC to it.
Then we have the Garage system a AU505 and TU505 connected to 2 pair of TDL super compacts.
It is controlled on I5 PC into a Ol Dac.
My music libary is backed up to this PC automatically and this PC is used for a lot of backup work.
l only play flac or wav files.
All my speaker cables are RG213.
My I7 PC is a gen 1 has been Dyno matted to reduce noise and although l have Foobar, Music Bee and JRiver on it l always find myself using Windows Media player as it sound best to me.
The priority of Media player have been raised and l get no playback problems at all.
Proberly going to get a Topping D30 for the family room system soon.
regards Bruce
