Vintage Speakers- The Unique, Rare and just plain Odd.

[Funky54]

How about a thread of unique, not found very often speakers from the past?

Remember when you first discovered Planar or some derivative?

Maybe the first time you saw Lincoln Walsh ohm F?

Post the pic's! Vintage, Rare, Unusual....

[baco99]

you mean these?

Bertagni Electroacoustic Systems (BES) SM300, 4-way "flat panel" speakers. Woofer, mid, and tweeter are styrofoam panels with an exciter mounted behind them. The super-tweeter is a paper cone piezo electric diaphragm. Dipole.

That is them!

Rare,I get the feeling these vvvvv are pretty rare.

Have a thread on them here > http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/interesting-thrift-store-find-grafyx-model-4.686489/

Although the Grafyx SP series (6/8/10) is relatively well know in certain circles,it seems that almost nothing is known about this specific Grafyx model, and these are definitely a different beast than those earlier models as these are 3 way ported floorstanders.

Then there's the Hill Plasmatronics Type 1. Probably not the must bizarre looking, but definitely unique.

A contemporaneous review.
