Westinghouse Record Player Identifying

Hello,

I am hoping someone might be able to assist me in identifying the Westinghouse player in the photos. It looks a lot like a Westinghouse Rainbow Toner but the face appears to be more up to date and more of a replica of older models.

Also, you will see that it is missing dials and knobs. Is there a place where I would be able to find replacement parts for this cabinet? I do plan to update the speaker and other areas but was hoping to keep as much of the classic look as possible.

Any other thoughts or ideas you have on this equipment please let me know. I am all ears.

I have the exact same radio, minus the record player. Mine is model H-114 and I'll bet your chassis is the same. Here is the schematic;

The build date on mine is June 1947.

Nice! Thank you so much. Did you have most of the parts for it? The turntable is pretty beat up on it and the speaker probably needs replaced as well. I am missing all the guts… do you have a good place to find the parts for it?

I was able to find a sticker inside I missed before… my gf has had this thing in the garage since I have known her “3 years” her dad found it when someone was throwing it out.

the model is H-162.

Hi Matt, I'm sorry to hear that you don't have the chassis, I can't think of any way to get a chassis unless you got really lucky and found one with a bad cabinet you could take the chassis from. I was lucky in that mine was complete when I got it, it just needed the typical old radio restoration.

Ahhh bummer, no worries. I really appreciate the help in identifying the piece. I may just install a new record player in it and speaker and perhaps turn the rest into a whiskey cabinet if I can’t find the parts.
