Every now and then you can find some decent stuff for little dinero but, not that often!

Looks interesting. Seems to me Fennell’s stuff was originally issued on Mercury Living Presence. Händel’s Fireworks music has an interesting back story. Apparently, he was living the high life in England and his boss, some sort of German prince, ordered him to come home and entertain him. Händel told him to go screw himself. In short order, the prince became king of England and Händel had some crawling to do. The Royal Fireworks was the result.

The top edge above the CD tray is transparent on front and on top. When you look down on the CDP you see the CD spinning horizontally in the tray. The cool part is that when you look at the CDP straight on from the front, you see the CD spinning but appears to be vertical.

I still want to find a clean copy of this box set. When it came out i couldn't afford it. It only has 9 studio albums plus the early years bonus disc. I have all the content. But not the box or how the cases line up like tbe Dark Side of the moon. So i don't really need it but if i find it for a good deal will snag it. At the time Alan Parsons says it was the best version Of DSOTM available. Not sure how he feels about recent remasters.

So like 7-8 years ago, I found a Led-Zep CD box set at the DeAnza Swap Meet. The CDs all had really nice cardboard cases and nice booklets with them. I paid $10. For the set. I ripped a few of the CDs and never finished ripping them all. I ended up giving the boxset to a fellow AKer in my area for a few nice LPs. While I feel the deal was good and I got some good LPs, I still wish I had kept the set as it was mint as could be.

I think in some cases TELARC gets the analog tapes and do the magic,
