Thanks E! I got it on trade for a Yamaha C-85 preamp I had, the guy gave me $200 In cash too. I really made out on the deal. It turned out the guy was a big collector too. He had a few mice decks for me to pick from and I landed on this one. It’s only a 2 head unit but I really like it.

I’ve been looking for a Sony ES 3 head unit for a good deal. My local CL has been really dry lately. I need to look for new audio sites that have used/vintage tape decks. eBay prices have been crazy.

It was quite a surprise. Heading for the terminal on a weekend usually means no run but there was an extra trailer heading for the Yukon so I got it. Halfway back I got another one, so the supply of beer vouchers had a handy boost.

I've seen them several tmes.They usually do a fly in and rent Twin Reverbs and a Marshall 50 watt half stack from
L S G..Owned by my music biz partner, Keith . Jesse Valezuela is a really good guy and always cool to talk gear with during load in for sound check.

Damn! If you ever see them again tell them I’m a big fan! NME was one that I would play on loop as a teen and still play it often. I’ve got it on multiple formats. Did you ever get to see Doug? Man his story really bothers me. It’s just sad. That’s really cool you have got to meet them. I’d love to see them live.

I still want to find a clean copy of this box set. When it came out i couldn't afford it. It only has 9 studio albums plus the early years bonus disc. I have all the content. But not the box or how the cases line up like tbe Dark Side of the moon. So i don't really need it but if i find it for a good deal will snag it. At the time Alan Parsons says it was the best version Of DSOTM available. Not sure how he feels about recent remasters.

I read the reviews about the ineffective glue not holding the cover on this set so I knew what to expect.
No surprise. They also say this is an amazing set of music. It is.
AFAIC the cover is just a slipcase and it's more convenient as removable.
