I remember in late May 1987 they opened for Billy Idol at the old CNE grandstand. Ian Astbury had moved with his parents as a kid to Hamilton and grew up there before moving back and iirc because of CanCon they broke in Toronto first in NA with Love. So as a thank you to Toronto they played a free gig in a club in Yorkville the next night. Can't remember how we managed to get the free tickets but what a great show. Astbury even got his Dad up on stageLove is hands down my favourite Cult album...just a great dark vibe that had energy behind it!

I actually refrained from mentioning that he has written pieces for ballets...i know how talented the guy is.It's a known fact that Kip Winger has written classical music.
He's actually quite talented. I just wish he hadn't tried his hand at ahem, "heavy metal".

I must agree. I am always looking for porters. And a good stout piques my interest. John is right: Sam Smith makes great ales and stouts.That is one beer that I do not like. Tried it 2 or 3 times about 25 years ago and that was enough for me.
