What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Yes. The only way to do it! No beers for me, however.

It is interesting to read this thread. We are all many people in one.......I'll go for Winger and the like, same as some others here who are obsessed with that band :) and then go for the violin and piano concertos other times too.

Gotta keep my nose out of most current events though.
I am really impressed with the diversity of tastes in many of the regulars here...so many albums and bands posted on here that it inspires me to search out more and deeper appreciate what i am already familiar with.
I usually do it without beer as well...it takes from my music fund!

As much as I enjoy my "party records", weirdo avantgarde, and experimental stuff, classical and chamber are the bulk of my record collection.

I rarely post them because no one seems to like them anymore. When I listen on headphones, it is classical. And 99% of my FM listening is to classical.

In New York, WQXR (105.9MHz) is still a quality choice for live and rare older performances.

Here are some of the records in my listening queue. They've been amassed during the pandemic from different sources.

Sign of the times: One of the local-ish record stores I visited told me that I am the only one who checks the condition of the LP surfaces. We were speaking about audio and records, and he claimed that, "People today buy it for the look".

Yeah, good luck listening to classical on vinyl without checking em out first AND cleaning them as necessary!
