What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Normally not a go-to of mine, but after this lately 84 hour work week I needed a positive pick-me-up. For the 3rd time in 2 months I've dreamt my alarm went off (its set for 0230). I get up, take a shower, get dressed, then notice it's 1130pm....WTH! Usually turn on the tube and take a nap until the actual alarm goes off. Thanks for listening...LOL.

That's brutal.

only 98% posi feedback. going by inventory its a storage unit filpper.

claims its a brand new cart w/shibata stylus but i highly doubt that they even have a clue but i am basing that strictly by inventory.

and i they state: "Double boxed with UPS shipping with cover off. "

i dunno how they come up with that. i want the platter and counterweight off. i want the tonearm taped down and i want the cover on and taped down to protect the tonearm.

i could probably chat up the seller and get them to do it my way. maybe i'm making excuses to talk myself out of it right now.

they are in wi. so it isnt a long ways to get shipped. shipping cost is reasonable. it has a mute switch:rockon:

see that? im giving a good argument for buying it too.

i dunno. :dunno:
Turntables are always a risk with shipping as you know.
I returned 3 tables in a row from poor packing long ago.

Make him take pictures per your packing request requirements.

Thats a good looking TT , it would suck to have it get beat up in shipping , problem with alot of these ebay folks is they don't really understand what can go wrong with certain equipment in shipping and what needs to be protected.

Too many wrap it in bubble plastic and call it good , if it were me I would contact the seller and make sure your on the same page about what safe shipping of a TT involves , it's really in his best interest any way , and even if you get damage covered it's still a huge let down to receive damaged equipment.

Gotta say I've been vary fortunate on ebay with shipping results , other than a poorly packed PAIR of Advents , some people are just bone heads.
