I've this one and Treehouse on vinyl. Saw them a couple of times late 80's/early 90's. May still even have a ticket stub.
Wow! $13 bucks for a reissue. What a score.
A decent pressing of an original would run you over $1000 nowadays.
A better version imo- studio version...
Had to go to the dump and empty the trailer on Saturday so I decided to dig the bins at the last chance resale shop. This was as the stack I came home with. My receiver was acting funny so I had n't spun any yet.
decided to spin this one first

Got a whiff of some good 80's air. This one was unopened until 2 days ago when it got cleaned.
Quartz were a Jazz / Fusion act from Montreal in the early 80's. In '83 they won the Yahama Award for Best Performance at the 4th annual Montreal International Jazz Festival. The following year the recording was released by Radio Canada and is high water mark for Canadian Jazz Fusion of the 80's.

Ekaterina Shelehova is a Coloratura Soprano, with a freakish range!!! She sings everything from opera proper, to folk tunes to tunes she sings to show off her phenomenal range! You think the other rock-divas are good? Listen to Ekaterina and be blown away!
The purity of her voice is astonishing! She speaks 4-5 languages completely fluently!!!

The value of Weird Al stuff on vinyl is crazy!
Had never thought of it before but sure, why not.
My guess would be that in the big picture not a lot of his material was pressed in large numbers being a novelty act and I wouldn't think 2nd pressings were part of his catalogue. Everybody knows him, but how many people own him? I've 25 - 30 comedy records in my collection and none of them are Weird Al.
