What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

:thumbsup:Saw it at Target of all places. It’s a very good sounding record as well
Target sells a lot of cool records & cds from what I see for sale on fb marketplace, the bay etc. Lots of Target exclusive editions etc We had a Target store about an hour away that I went to once but they wern’t selling any vinyl then. For some reason the stores never took off and Target as far as I know checked out of Canada and closed all their stores.
Make it make sense as they say, now we’re stuck with the other option, and I haven’t bothered going into one of those clown show in years.
If target was here selling cds and vinyl I’d be all over that, not to mention we’d pay more if needed for other things just to avoid the big blue stores.

I like their and Walmart exclusives.....damn good product!

in 20 years of buying records at thrift stores I have found a single good condition copy of their second album and it must be over a hundred beat to sh#t or played to death copies of their other stuff, lately i have found a couple of their CD's in really good shape so its not all bad

and something I have been meaning to ask the thread, how much do you guys pay for used albums at a record store? there are a few antique markets around here and they seem to price every album off what a mint copy on ebay might go for, they want $40-50 for a early deep purple album in a condition I would pass on for 50 cents.
It varies for me. Fortunately I’m in a music store rich area. I rarely buy anything more than $15 in NM condition. If it’s really something I want I’ve broken that rule a couple times. I have a bunch of very nice under $10 records

I'm being polite here, I honestly respect the people that contribute to this thread. The individual pictured and featured in a multitude of posts today doesn't deserve the negative connotations being applied. Wether or not we as individuals approve or disapprove of an individual's personal choices of how they present themselves to society it's their personal choice. We don't know the person or they're reasons for being controversial to society's perceived norms. Remember individuality is what defines us and everyone one of us is the child of parents who may not have always understood or liked what we thought we were about but loved us unconditionally I hope this was the case in each of our lives
Would you hire said individual to represent your company? There are still standards of culture and taste.

I understand that....my upper limit is $100.....but it better be something I can't live without and be pristine.
My issue is I don’t believe my rig is good enough for a $75 record. There’s a point of no return eventually. To me a super audiophile one step MoFi doesn’t have the impact much more than the $20 basic remaster. If I used a $5000 turntable and a $1000 cartridge. That’s when those details reveal themselves. Just my opinion of course

My price point is more about the type of music I enjoy. Hair Band vinyl can be VERY expensive at times. I really want a copy of Dangerous Toys S/T.....but it is way over even my price point. But I have spent a few $$ on some I really wanted. I haven't paid crazy money for my MOFI albums....but the one album I think is the best sounding I own is the Steve Wilson Aqualung....and I paid $25 for it!

I guess us saying something about her appearance isn't the same as him judging us as dinosaurs..... And to be real honest, I was just saying I was glad I grew up when I did. If he inferred that as saying something about the multiple holes she put in her body...and nose...that is on him. Ignore button is easy to find.
I’m leaving my thoughts on the table. I’ve been sent to AK jail for a lot less

The dollar figure doesn't necessarily represent the audiophile market but also reflects rarity of pressing
