sometimes a joke is just a joke, good natured ribbing.

My issue is I don’t believe my rig is good enough for a $75 record. There’s a point of no return eventually. To me a super audiophile one step MoFi doesn’t have the impact much more than the $20 basic remaster. If I used a $5000 turntable and a $1000 cartridge. That’s when those details reveal themselves. Just my opinion of courseI understand that....my upper limit is $100.....but it better be something I can't live without and be pristine.
My price point is more about the type of music I enjoy. Hair Band vinyl can be VERY expensive at times. I really want a copy of Dangerous Toys S/T.....but it is way over even my price point. But I have spent a few $$ on some I really wanted. I haven't paid crazy money for my MOFI albums....but the one album I think is the best sounding I own is the Steve Wilson Aqualung....and I paid $25 for it!My issue is I don’t believe my rig is good enough for a $75 record. I’m leaving my thoughts on the table. I’ve been sent to AK jail for a lot lessI guess us saying something about her appearance isn't the same as him judging us as dinosaurs.....And to be real honest, I was just saying I was glad I grew up when I did. If he inferred that as saying something about the multiple holes she put in her body...and nose...that is on him. Ignore button is easy to find.

The dollar figure doesn't necessarily represent the audiophile market but also reflects rarity of pressing
I get that....I am still the obnoxious azz I have always been...but I blame it on being old!I’ve mellowed in my old age lol

If the person genuinely fit the core requirements of the position and was willing to remove theirWould you hire said individual to represent your company? There are still standards of culture and taste.
They also have sales that are unannounced for some reason. I just happened to be in the store for a few deals. Albums for $18. Not badTarget sells a lot of cool records & cds from what I see for sale on fb marketplace, the bay etc. Lots of Target exclusive editions etc We had a Target store about an hour away that I went to once but they wern’t selling any vinyl then. For some reason the stores never took off and Target as far as I know checked out of Canada and closed all their stores.
Make it make sense as they say, now we’re stuck with the other option, and I haven’t bothered going into one of those clown show in years.
If target was here selling cds and vinyl I’d be all over that, not to mention we’d pay more if needed for other things just to avoid the big blue stores.
Heck, look at my old relic above, I'd throw some $100 vinyl on there in a heartbeat. My issue is I don’t believe my rig is good enough for a $75 record. There’s a point of no return eventually.
