What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

I stopped at Target today for the first time in several months. Like you I discovered they only have an LP section and it’s not big. And they’re remodeling and expanding into a Super Target and shrunk the Tech and Electronics section. Wally World has a department 3 times the size.

Mine is a Super Target , it's close so I pick stuff up there often ,groceries mainly , it looks to me like they are phasing out most of the electronics section , hardly any TV's ,lots of open spots on the TV wall, minimal amount of albums , the bulk of what they do have is cell phone related.

motronix

that was about complete waste of time and money. not really but i am shocked.

i guess the motronix parts are matched just as good as mine were. there is a yellow and green trace in each plot. they are both very well matched between the channels and each other.

strange tho. the motronix uses 6.8nF cap and mine used a 6.2nF cap. i didn't check or measure resistors.

have yet to do a listening test and check for noise.

Is that case aluminum , looks nice.

I've been 95 on 95, over 100 for miles on 95 down near DC
I set the cruise control at 100 for over 5 minutes along Okefenokee Swamp going to Florida
I can't say I've been 128 on 128 but I might have been 140 on 495
I pinned my speedometer at 95 cranking Sabbath at 2-3AM in a Subie schittbox in and out of fog in moose country for 15-20 miles in NH
Those are all untrue statements. I never break the law.

The NOR'EASTERS LIVE "95 on 95" at the Channel in Boston MA June-29,1991

I actually remember that. You couldn’t get away from that guy on TV for about 3 years lol. Maybe longer
I hate to admit it, but my wife drug me to one of his concerts back in the mid 80’s. She wasn’t especially a fan but had heard he put on a great show.
I have to say she was right. If your goal was to see a technically superior show with great visibility and sound - that concert was it.

Alright, enough horsing around. I'm getting back to my roots and my first love is hard rock!
At the top of that heap is Scorpions!!

Savage Amusement always seems to be an overlooked album in their catalogue. I'm not really sure why. Probably because this was the only album during their 80's run that didn't have a radio hit. That may be true, but there is not a dog on this album! Not even close!!
