I was in the same situation in 1985 , married fall of 84 , new baby March 85 , I already had a stereo I bought 6 years prior, still have the stereo , charged a 25" TV , my daughter and I are really close , the wife and TV were long gone in 89 , retired from the job 16 months ago though.It was 1985 and wife and I were newly married, I had my first real job (actually same job I I have today), and in first house (rental). Here is our first “good” stereo system. I still use the cassette deck in my main rig and still have the CDP and TT (all Technics). Speakers were Bose 501 Series IV and were replaced when we bought our first house 10 years later and WAF over-ruled in favor of sub-sat system.
Plus, we thought we were uptown with that 19” color TV!

My Pioneer SX-780.I bought it in '79 from Adray Appliance and Sound Center in Dearborn,MI with money i'd saved from my first job as a short order cook.Been with me ever since. Mike Adray was a local legend who sponsored tons of youth sports and his store lasted from 1955 until 2009.106.7 WLLZ

I bought my 2nd stereo , 1st new nice one in 77 from Team Electronics , I was a cook at a hotel restaurant , I decided to go the integrated amp route bought a Kenwood KA-3500 & Pioneer PL-115D TT , I would have bought more up scale but I was reeling from having my albums and stereo stolen and just couldn't wait to get some tunes again.
That's awesome but,sad about your stuff getting ripped off.
Super talented dudes, listening to them for umpteen years.
So saddening that we have lost two of them.

It reached #16 in the UK in the official albums chart.
In Germany it reached #2 on the top 100 albums chart.
In France on the top 100 rock and metal albums chart it debuted at #6

Pulled the last of the items from storage over the weekend. Had these speakers for well over a decade but they never made it into rotation.
Speakerlab S6O, with a delightful ribbon tweeter.
To me, they very much look Nestorovic inspired, especially being from Speakerlab but Paul Johnston of The Loud Speaker Store has assured me that they are not.
Nestorovic association or no, they are excellent!

This tune is getting tons of airplay here in Detroit on WRIF and WJXQ out of Lansing/Jackson.
The Warning just announced the start of their world tour 2027 and it will start in their home country city of Mexico at the GNP stadium, same stadium were they opened for the foo fighters. It will be their first stadium concert as headliners. There is already people from the U.S starting to reserve hotels and waiting for the ticket presale on 9/9/26. The concert is on 2/5/27 the drummer's birthday she turns 25. The rest of the tour dates and countries have not been announced yet. There will be people from other countries traveling for that concert as they did for their concert at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico city where they sold out three dates days apart on a 10,000 venue.
And they will be featured at the half time show of the game between the Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49rs on 11/22/26 On an international game that is being played in Mexico city venue size is 87,000 and it will be shown on TV in the U.S and Mexico as far as i know.

Pretty much all over the U.S actually. I am hopping that they play the whole album on the 9th but i doubt it.
As long as they play the title track and a few of the others i will be happy. It's a given that they will play Kerosene.
