Morning Jim..yes there is. My oldest has the sickness, she said she has at least 12 different bags in her pantry! I am sacrilegious...I save my last bit of coffee to nuke it first thing in the morning while the new pot brews. DON'T TELL ANYONE!there is just something about good coffee

OK....aroma took over the kitchen! Smelled amazing. It has a bit of an aftertaste that I can't put my finger on. Not terrible....just surprised me.

Morning guys.
Sipping coffee (nothing special, just dark roast Community Coffee) and getting geared up to work on wife’s electric scooter. Mechanism jamming somewhere, making it difficult to lock frame in open position.
Mid-day temps running 98F around here and garage isn’t much cooler. Gotta take advantage of the cooler morning air!

Community is my everyday...I like the Breakfast Blend. I have garage time coming today too.....and they are calling for temps of 105 by noon....swamp azz on the horizon.

Tripped over REM MTV Unplugged VHS source
- Video is OK, audio quality is quite good on this recording
I haven't studied it, but VHS is reported to have excellent audio quality
There is also no substitute for good source recordings, audio can't be fixed later
Checked out of bunch of other REM vids that YT barfed out once the algo knew I was interested.
The audio is flat to terrible on most, like most Sting concert videos on YT, not sure why
When the Police were new, I always thought their vinyl sounded flat
Probably too many tracks per side and bad mastering, things Sting corrected on his solo LPs
- roommates were crazy about them and went to see them at the small 9:30 club in DC
- I passed, a mistake
This video is 1991, material is up to and including tracks from 1991 Out of Time
but not 1992 Automatic for the people aka peak REM
- 1992 which marked peak REM measured by versions on Discogs
I did a little reading, apparently REM decided to blow themselves up around this time
- measured by version count, they fell off a cliff

I used to record audio on VHS tapes- excellent sound quality!
Yeah, our usual is the breakfast blend with dark roast thrown in every now and then.
