What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Looking at images of 9 - 11 still stirs indescribable feelings inside me . . never forget

Albums released on 9/11/2001 , Dream Theater's unfortunate cover artwork . . . .

I was working midnights at DTW then and when i walked in the door after work my wife was crying and said to me,"We're going to war." I had no idea what was going on.The next few days were insane at the airport.Almost our entire fleet was grounded here except for several flights which were stranded in Canada.

I'm a little younger but I remember the Kennedy funeral on TV, particularly JFK Jr as I believe we are the same age , I didn't understand why cartoons were not on.
I was in the hospital for my tonsils. Woke up in hospital and the darkening evening after surgery with my great-uncle next to the bed and a portable b&w on next to him with Walter Cronkite on. I could sense something bad had happened but wouldn’t realize what it was and make the connection until several years later.

I remember an announcement on the speaker in school and the principal said everyone should go home and our parents would explain
It was a weird day. Even as a kid we knew something wasn’t right

Was in a maintenance refresher class getting ready for our next deployment....they stopped everything and rolled a TV into the room....3 min later full recall to the squadron. They were launching everything we had into the air. I was packing up shortly to head to the middle east with 4 helicopters and 84 personnel.

goooood morning ak! it's friíiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday! :banana:
it's freakn humid af today. thankfully it aint gonna be but 80. almost had to wring my shirt out.
yanno i went and put them xlr cables in as soooon as i got in the door. are they noiiiice! great feel. nice heft. the connectors fit like a glove. and have a satin finish you can feel. really well put together. im gonna go as far as to say its the nicest cable i have.
anyway, definitely a difference. but not due to the cable. it's the connection between the two using the circuitry better. semi+long and semi-dry explanation according to ai.
essentially, extra gain, purer signal path, 20db lower noise floor in tube mode. im thrilled.
now, im gonna hafta look at a fully balanced chain. :naughty: somewhere in the future.
ok, first up on my fave playlist.
for some reason, i couldn't find this on tidal.
some favorite grimy dubstep

I walked into work and everyone was huddled around the TV in the boss’s office. People were canceling appointments. I was thinking I should go back to the USN. I was to old by then but it crossed my mind. I remember people super pissed while being sad at the same time

Wow! It was so errie here because living 10 minutes from the airport you're so used to flights overhead all day. There was nothing in the skies at all except for an occasional military flight.
