Haven’t tired it yet, letting it breathe for a few min. Smells good tho lol

The 7 year normal mash is better, this one is good but it’s a flavor bomb, has a lot going on. It’s insane smooth with no burn at all, but it’s bitter as all get out on the end. Not bad at all but nothing I’d buy again.

So the LLS owner texted me at 745am this morning telling me about a new Heaven Hill Bourbon they got in. Not sure getting whiskey updates at 745am is a good think or not but I did pick up a bottle on my way home today lol.

As I was talking to him he mentioned oh we have a new Russian River, it’s a new Pliny.

A double Dry hopped IPA but made with the Pliny recipe. Had to pick up a few of those too.

Going to crack them open in a few hours it’s still a bit too early.

IMNSHO, getting good information and continued relationships with people is always paramount regardless of the time of day. I'd thank them for giving you a heads up.
