Thanks, they were given to me by a fellow AKer.
They are a set of 2021 Quicksilver KT monos. I’ve got them running some el34 now but have some KT88s for them. Just don’t need all that power on some small speakers.
This is his shop, he bench tested them for me and balanced everything.
I haven’t been around a lot due to time issues, but it’s great to see you @jobrewer1983

didn't take long to find issue with Marantz. My hunch was it had to do with power switch. It's missing a screw and moves quite a bit.
I imagine it was arcing somehow and causing the speaker crackle. it was behaving that way when I replaced the switch. So this is definitely a user error situation.
