I was getting ready for work and had GMR on as I did in those days , saw the 1st plane crashed into the Trade Center before I left home , thats before anyone realized it was an attack vs an accident .

I went ahead and headed for the shop and heard about the 2nd plane and the rest of the pieces were coming together on the radio on my way in , by the time I got there it was pretty scary , they had ordered ALL air traffic to respond and land by then.

I don't think I took any service calls that day , went back home and watched the TV , I knew this was going to change things , it wasn't like bombings that happened in the past.

Right this was way different.

Wow! It was so errie here because living 10 minutes from the airport you're so used to flights overhead all day.There was nothing in the skies at all except for an occasional military flight.

I noticed they were really flying them into Chicago last evening, three wide from the west every few minutes..
I just get to thinking about what they are dropping in the air over my head day after day?

i was watching the today show i think the 1st had just hit. i saw the 2nd hit.

it was hard concentrating at work that day.
