I would get gas and the mechanic had a very nasty 68 GTX. Red, Black interior. Loved that car. My circle of friends always had Chevy’sfew years after that I had a '69 SS396, so I was more into Chevy's, but always loved the monster-motored Dodge cars! Very hot cars!

A lot of Cragar SS wheels around at the time- was just meh about them myself- I was partial to the Centerlines... not now though...

The only car that did a wheelie while I was in it was a faded purple Super Bee (dunno what year) that our Army friend brought back from Hawaii.
He put a rod through the block and we had to walk over 5 miles back to his house to get my car. That was a quiet walk after the initial expletives deleted.
