no drill. i use a full size buffer. i think the one i still have was sold as a 7" grinder. i rebuilt it a few years ago. the torque on startup will twist your wrist

i probably have a couple more hours experience with a buffer. i don't worry about those problems. just gotta watch the direction of the wheel.

i buffed semi sleeper once. the front angled part of the sleeper i could not reach from the ladder at the sides of the truck. so i put a ladder behind the sleeper. climbed up, laid on the sleeper, slightly upside down. my bro was on the ladder holding my ankles. that lasted about 5 minutes and i told my bro to real me back in. **** that.

i did not go back up to machine polish it.

afternoon, ak. kinda blustery and 53. wet. first signs of the hurricane sliding past us.
so, ive got about a week in since i had ai help with wiims room correction. my previous attempts were rather uninformed.
it's set at 20-200hz. xo is at 55. and suggested 1 adjustment that just dropped it. the difference is a 3 or 4 on a 10 scale.
while i thought i had no boom, what i got was bass and lower mid range clarity and smoothness up top. what seems like some depth in the soundstage.
to say im thrilled is an understatement. even the wife could hear the difference. no, really she could, though. honestly, she's got a great ear and an good understanding of good sq.
next up is integrating rew settings into my wiim pro plus. for the time being, im sitting in the sweet spot mesmerized, sipping beer, toking, listening.

i had a taste for a hazy ipa. found a hazy dipa. this is goooood! alllmost sweet, roped in by a nice tang with little pine. a touch dry. 9.5%
