What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

I miss Fry's. I'd shop there about once a week. Sadly, my last purchase was 25 K95 masks during covid. The San Diego store, which before Fry's an Incredible Universe store, was demolished and is currently being built into a multistory apartment complex. The zoning idiots here keep building the high density complexes, but never consider infrastructure. Meanwhile, they have eliminated lanes for motor vehicles and converted said lanes to protected bicycle lanes. Those bicycle lanes are rarely used, but the activists are a noisy bunch.
don't even get me started on those efn bike lanes costing millions, serving less than 1-3% of the population, creating congestion all across the city. wasting time and money.
"oh, build the lanes and people will start riding in the streets again. 1o yrs later, aint nobody come out in any kind of numbers making them worthwhile.
they have monthly bike parties here. it's a real bitch when they hold up traffic while crossing town. as many as 100 cyclists.
these are the same fine upstanding citizens than constantly carp about the 12 o'clock Boyz doing that. only efn difference is dirt bikes are illegal. so the eff is holding up traffic.

we been griming all afternoon since we got back from the oktoberfest.
um, how you gonna be a beer fest with only ONE brewery. ONE. a station at each end serving a choice of ... three different beers. at least the beer was quite good.
no weiner schnitzel. no cordon bleu. American brats for sure, no real german nothing.
well, at least it was a good ride.
i get a major thrill from this song
