What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

I partied with the Hells Hencemen back in the day and met the leader.. He was a little sober guy just like the movies. I had bike issues so he had the chapter mechanic help me on the fly. It was Crazy

They can be cool if you have the right attitude , the local subordinate club here I know a half dozen members , just normal guys really , not a 1% club , seems like a couple more have popped up the last 5 years , not a club type guy myself , I just ride , sometimes with my actual brother.

I was on a Seca 750, pavement and some gravel at the outer edges of the ramp, not a gravel pit, but typical accumulated gravel from time...
That loose sand and gravel is no joke on a bike , doesn't take much , I went down one time just turning into a parking lot with some loose asphalt I didn't see , think I got knocked out , don't even remember hitting the ground , just remember seeing my bike laying on it's side a few feet away.

Banged my knee pretty good , had a black eye , picked my bike up and rode it 30 miles home.

Weren't you wearing a helmet??? Oh wait, you Yanks aren't required to wear a helmet- I would be dead without question during my accident if I wasn't wearing a good full-coverage helmet!!! I hit the guardrail square on with my head!!! :(

Still got the Seca 750, too, although it's seen better days and needs some love, now. Love love love that machine and that sound when it winds-out...oh. Had a moment.

This one still makes me smile -- funky as can be, it was Stevie b*tching about president Nixon for those who forgot/weren't around.

Awesome bike- shaft drive... I had a Kerker 4-1 header on it, and it howled when you cracked it! Intoxicating sound! :)

That loudness war has to be the biggest atrocity in the recording industry since they let the mono mastering engineers slip away. Every time I listen to a good mono mix I feel bad for what talent was lost.
Especially on physical media it's too bad Mastering engineers allowed themselves to be be basically bullied into destroying the subtle intricacies the Songwriter(s) n composer(s) built into the overall composition of work. I can sort of see mixing for commercial airplay a bit on the hot side so you catch listeners attention as they scan across stations.
