What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

The Whole Foods I remember from its '80s and '90s start in Austin differs significantly from the monstrosity it became following the Amazon purchase. It used to be a single-location hippie shop that expanded until it was sold to the Bezos Empire.
That makes sense though cause from what i've seen Austin is so different from where i live it might as well be another planet.I guess eventually they couldn't pass up the money.I didn't know Amazon owns them.

example" I have a recording of ALIVEMUTHERFORYA, a jazz album with Billy Cobham, Steve Khan, Alphonso Johnson, Tom Scott, and Mark Soskin- sizzles...
Now I will admit this is a live album, and may not fit the criteria- maybe just areally crappy live recording... I also seen Fanfare for the Common jump out of several peoples grooves, but not mine... maybe weak examples...
Yeah live recordings are a different animal and come up with whole host of additional problems.

Angel are a band that have been roasted on many occasions and in a lot of instances, rightfully so. Hell, Zappa wrote the song Punky's Whips about their guitar player Punky Meadows. That said, the bands 1st two records and live record are worthy listens. Great hard rock with proggy elements. I'll not buy any other Angel records now that I've the 3 that you need. This being their 2nd.

EDIT:
The 1st self titled being the best of the bunch.
I remember that particular part of the chat over the pints. I will put this on my Albums to Purchase spreadsheet; These ones? Angel, Helluva Band, On Earth As It In Heaven

You can buy that radio (Packard Bell Model RT2 or AR-851) on eBay (amongst other online resale places).

Nice conversation piece, but prepare to dig deep into your wallet!
