What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Oh shiit! may have a major snafu going on! The magnets and frames are much wider than the originals, and may not fit between the internal walls of the cabinets!!! Since the woofers are mounted from the front of the baffles, I'm hoping the extra outward spacing will allow the frames to to fit! It will be very close! If they don't fit it, will mean hogging out the internal sides of the speakers, which will be a nightmare because the cabinets are 1.25 inch HDF, with a melamine skin!! It'll be a nightmare as it's so hard... next fix would be a thicker baffle to space the woofer out further! I'm hoping the original baffles are thick enough to give clearance?? I never even contemplated this could happen... :(
Have to zoom out to the hardware store to get some different size screws and washers, and a rotary rasp... once I start down the path, there's no going back and I may have to put the project down till summer, and I can use my woodshop in the garage... wish me luck! If it looks too close, instead of rendering the current baffles useless for the old drivers, I'll just reassemble and wait... :(

The bench is in perfect condition but this model was built with a design flaw. The back pad wasn't in the same plane as the seat pad.
It was 5/8" low where it rests on the frame and the seat pad is 5/8" lower than the back pad.
It was seriously uncomfortable in the flat position. This was about the only issue stated in the Amazon reviews.
I leveled the back pad last night. Simple fix. 1 cut to the right board, wood glue, rest 85lbs of plates on it for an hour and drive 4 screws.
I'll be raising the seat pad today. 4 bolts. No biggie.
