What are your hopes for the 2025 NFL season

So it was McDermott's fault for all the fumbles and interceptions??
A theory bandied about on my local sports radio was that it might of been a power struggle between him and Beane, who then was promoted to director of football operations.

I don't know how much stroke McDermott had but GM's should always be held accountable when things fester as they did.

Seeing as Chicago is one of my all time favorite city's, it was very cool to see Blackhawks legend Jim Cornelison AMP the crowd last night prior to kick off.

I've tuned into Blackhawks games just to see him belt it out, the response is always awesome!!!

Don't have a dog in this fight any more. Don't like Seattle, don't like Denver, and the Rams lost any respect when they left CA for the almighty dollar. Even though they came back, the damage was done.

The Pats - ho hum. I'll watch whoever plays, but that's about it.

Hopefully next year will be better.

If stone cold and boring delivers THAT many Super Bowl wins and AFC Championships, I'll take it.
Well, I think it was mostly Brady, as evidenced by Belichich's dismal record after Brady left. I'm liking what I see from the new guy Drake Maye, hopefully he won't flame out like so many other young quarterbacks do in their third or fourth year.

I'm no Pats fan but I think there was a lot of synergy with Brady and Belichick. Plus Brady didn't play defense.

Belichick may not have had much success after Brady left but Brady paired up with Bruce Arians (who came out of retirement) and a lot of the coaching staff that Arians had to send the Cardinals to the NFC Championship game. I was miffed because it was my opinion that if BA was gonna come out of retirement, he should have gone back the Cardinals -who still had a good defense- and worked with Kyler Murry.

Murry needs a solid O/C - Coach to get his head straight, he has the arm talent.

The Rams are a tough out. They’ve been tough for my Seahawks no matter who’s coaching; Mike Martz, Scott Linehan, Jeff Fisher, etc. While in St. Louis or LA they’ve been a massive PITA.

McVay has made them even better in recent years.

So I’m glad to see the Seahawks eliminate these dudes. Sayonara. Hasta la vista, etc.

A fairly interesting weekend.
I didn't expect the Broncos to win with a backup but the Denver D really kept them in the game. The rapidly changing weather added some drama, too. I guess it was a bad day to be a kicker...
As a long-suffering Cardinals fan, I hate all NFC West teams equally and had no dog in the NFC Championship game. But the wife wanted to see the Rams go down since they were the ones to eliminate the Bears.
