What are your hopes for the 2025 NFL season

GREAT game between Bills v Bronco's, damn shame about about Bo Nix 2nd to last play to boot
Lot of shady ref calls in that game: not blowing the whistle when the Bills had the ball, giving the Broncos ample opportunity to try to strip the ball, I saw lots of helmet to helmet contact from the Broncos when tackling, and one of those game ending interference calls was absolute BS. Strangely, knowing the Bronco's are the most penalized team in the NFL yet they only got two flags all game when they normally get fifteen ???... The gambling boys that seem to be in charge of the refs must have bet heavily on the Broncos.

If my Rams can somehow beat the Bears, we get to play Seattle. We played them tough and should have won both regular season games.

That’s a pretty serious allegation.

Surely if true the NFL could see any large transfers of money or other forms of payment to the refs.
I used to ref games in the Air Force in the 80's in Germany... it's easy for me to spot dishonest refs. There are two NFL crews under investigation right now... Unfortunately, mobsters/cartel heavies know how to put pressure on folks to force them to do their bidding. The easy fix is to ban gambling on sports, but there is too much $$$ involved to stop it now.

The Houston -New England game was much better... couple interference calls against New England that were questionable, but the refs let the Pats get away with a couple to make it fair (?) There were only a couple "ticky-tak" calls (AKA silly stuff that could be ignored like a lineman moving a foot that they call off sides on, etc- I hate that ticky-tak bull spit !) so overall it was much better. Going to watch the Bears/Rams game now to see how that one goes.

Plenty of ways you could hide it. Bitcoin and other crypto being the main one.
Bitcoin was invented as a way for drug dealers to move $$ around on the sly... If I were the all encompassing emperor of the world all that crypto crap would be outlawed right away. "Crypto Bros" are one of the lowest forms of life on the planet

It's unbelievable that ESPN would host ESPN BET. EB ended with an NBA fix but incredibly, ESPN did not abandon sports betting and partnered with another supposedly cleaner company. Disney should not be in this space.

Rams win! We usually do not play well in cold weather and if not for 3 4th and goal stops, we would have lost. On to Seattle. We have an excellent chance against our NFC West rivals.

The Bills was my dad's team when he was alive so I was really hoping to see them do well this weekend.
While the game ended with a couple of questionable calls - the final PI call was legit but not the one before it - the turnovers killed their chances.

And the Cardiac Bears certainly did deliver another thriller. But, like with the Bills, turnovers were the deciding factor.

It's not the ref's making all the money.

Legalized sports betting has blown the lid off Pandora's box and there is no putting it back on at this point.

(working from home, have ESPN on) Bill just fired their coach.

In Kyle's mom's voice...what..What..WHAT???

Holy smokes, I did not see that one coming.

So it was McDermott's fault for all the fumbles and interceptions??

I hope the Cardinals consider him for their HC opening.

i'm rooting for SEA... i'm a big fan of that stadium.

i was re-heating my coffee. they interrupted mid-segment.

that interception/fumble.... "game of inches" MY ASS! like a (bad? great?) Glenn Frey song. Someone's gonna cry; someone's gonna thank the stars above. 9am, Monday, an axe falls.

Much respect for Seahawks. They play us tough every year. Stafford got better with a better organization.

The exact same play occurred in the Rams game and it was called a reception. If it had been called a reception in the Bills game, it would not have been overturned.
I'm now hoping for the Detroit Rams to go all the way
L.A. Lions didn't get very far. I'm still a fan of Goff.
