I was wondering if anyone knew what brand of speakers are these. They have no model number or manufacture. The brand has a G and a speaker in the middle IMG_1628.jpg

Yep, cleonjr "nailed" it: those are Goodmans, a British label that made some very fine-sounding hi-fi speakers. You may have an under-the-radar collectible treasure there. Treat it carefully, at least until you know what it is. If possible, pull the drivers and photograph the labels on the back of the magnets. They should tell the story.

this was easy ,as I am curently seeking Goodmans.Curious If they are as good as others say.

I wonder if the woofer surrounds were made from PVC which does last a very long time.

Woofers are different from the one's in the ad.

Badges are too I think the ones the OP has are older and possibly a different woofer could very well be a different type suround.Goodmans and wharfs Have a interesting history in British sound.

PVC [poly vinyl chloride] was used by Audax, Kef, Dalesford , Seas and a few others companies .
The weight of the heavy surround did cause a slight reduction in driver sensitivity compared to using a foam rubber surround.

IMHO opinion the drivers in the OP might be of higher performance than the ones used in the speaker for sale on Canuckaudiomart.
