Humbly disagree here but we all have our own ears. My experience with the Piezo's is they are a bit stark and harsh. But it's been a while and ears could have been ass deep back then.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here. I love Infinities, but sometimes, to my ears, the EMITs are just bit hot.
I recapped my Columns as well, which seemed to smooth them out a bit overall.

Considering how this speaker identification (and many others) turned out, I'd like to propose a moratorium on the descriptor, "White Van Speakers." This term of derision gets thrown around like a football, and usually means nothing more than, "I don't know." Worst, the "White Van" speaker in question is usually eventually identified as an established brand, some of which are worthy of further investigation. So, come on, guys - let's reserve judgment in unknown speakers until all avenues of research have been exhausted.

I should have known that as soon as I said all those piezos would sound harsh, there would be someone who liked the sound of them. Not all piezo systems are bad, and if anyone could make one sound good, it would be Infinity. OTOH they can be a very inexpensive driver and don't need crossover parts, so cheap ones show up in cheap speakers and thus have the potential to sound bad. I will not condemn this speaker without hearing it but it is more likely to sound harsh than to sound like an Infinity.
