Just wondering if anyone would know what brand or model these speakers are..looks to be of 1960's vintage to me..

I don't have the slightest clue what that speaker is. Looks late '60's to me, but I'm completely-lost as far as the brand. Are those buttons on the front? I figure they hold the grills on, but that square trim piece around the tweeter must be a part of the grill itself (for aesthetic purposes).

Gettin' a Japanese vibe - despite the Formica exterior on the box. The legs might be "aftermarket" add-ons (and, no, legs cannot be akimbo, only arms, according to the dictionary - and it is never a good idea to arm loudspeakers).

Yes..I was getting a 'Japanese' and 60's vibe too...The chrome buttons DO seem to hold the grills on..
That tweeter looks abit funky olks...whaddaya say !!

I perused the usual suspects at audio-heritage (ahem, on my lunch hour, of course!) and didn't find a lookalike.

Maybe a well executed home built speaker? The formica and chrome buttons look like personal styling choices as well as the horn tweeter being mounted to the front of the grill! The horn tweeter looks Pioneer/Coral (ie Japanese) but who knows what else might lurk inside! A true mystery speaker model!
