I think this thread will get moved to dollars and sense where it belongs. I also think that set up is grossly overpriced. That's all so so equipment on a good day. You can do a lot better for that kind of coin.

I didnt know but kinda wanted Pioneer guys opinions since it was a pioneer system and not actually trying to buy or sell anything to or from a member,. So if it has anything to do with price at all post in Dollars and sense?

$1.5K is too much. Indeed individually sold, the components, if in excellent shape, may bring in the total amount... but even then, I doubt it. Is it all in a Pioneer rack?

So there's a grand and all of these are high end of my estimated prices. Prices, that us cheap bastards would likely never pay, unless we're completing a collection or the item was NIB.

I can happily be corrected if I'm off.

I agree with ed, except I think hes high on the 630 tt and low on the sa-8800, but thats my opinion.

Ok throw in a pair of HPM 100's and the rack for 1000. All the pieces in great shape.

I always thought the PL-630 goes for more coin? I thought $150 is pretty fair and I would say $300 be the high point.

On eBay nice SG-9500 brings $200. Nice RT-707 $300. Nice HPM-100 $500.

A PL-630 is worth $300 in good condition IMO. I know I wouldn`t let go of either of mine for less. It`s at least equal to a Yamaha YP-D71 or JVC QL-Y5F. GSauther on ebay sold a pristine one for over a grand last year. Overall the system in question is worth maybe $1000.
