since it appears to be decent outside maybe I'll hook the hose up and give the car a proper wash. Maybe give it a clay bar treatment too.
Did this, got clay done on the vertical surfaces. Arms got tired, so I'll do the flat stuff maybe tonight. Needs a buff and wax but the white is definitely whiter now. Original paint on a 29 year old car with a load of miles, its never going to be perfect. Wheels need a detail cleaning, in all the "honeycomb" stuff its got that brown brake dust residue. I think most of it will come up with a scrub but I couldn't find my tire brush.
Also went through my stash of weatherstrip to see if I had the rear glass window seals for my Continental. No go. I have front window stuff only, which of course is still OK on my car. There is basically one supplier of the bulk material I need to do the rear windows and everyplace is sold out of it.
