What is your Avatar??

Mine is an ID drawing of the Convair F-106 Delta Dart interceptor. This was the last interceptor in the USAF inventory. It could dash at 2 1/2 times the speed of sound. It carried nuclear tipped Genie missiles to take out Russian bomber formations. Some were painted gloss sky blue. Most were destroyed as targets in live fire training missions. It was the most beautiful military aircraft of all time.

Mine is my wife's illustration she did when she was 7 years old. Vebjorn Tandberg saw her Viking drawings and paid her to do more and for publication rights in their instruction manuals. This drawing now hangs in my office at work, So my avatar is the Viking Recording Engineer with clubfeet.

Mine is a scan of a promo 45 of Too Many People by The Leaves, one of the best rock n' roll songs ever.

i like to imagine that when you read my posts it seems like a 45 is speaking to you :)

Flag of Essex where I was born. This portion of Essex was swallowed up by London and is now called the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Though I still consider myself to be from Essex.

Audio Technica AT20SS limited edition moving magnet cartridge on an SME 3009 Series 3 tonearm. But that's today. I usually have a Fisher tube something or other.

The Wizard

A name my friends gave me, because I am the guy they come to when they are about to buy something, or if they don't want read the manual, the line I hear is, I don't know ask the Wizard.

My teen years were the Psychedelic 60's, and I loved the pop art of that era. My avatar is a hippie chick with a "3rd eye": "It is the spiritual third eye, our Inner vision and is considered the seat of the soul. " (mysticbanana.com).

It looks trippy under a black light!

Full Lunar eclispe. There are much better pictures of it out there, but I took this one myself, just outside my front door, 2 years ago IIRC.

My Grandson, Cameron. I live in Maine and my Daughters family in Floride while she gets her docorate degree. I see him 2 or 3 times a year. Not enough. He turned 4 last October. Picture was when he was about 2 1/2 years old.

My best friend 'Shadow'
My second German Shepherd.
Rescued from a shelter when she was about 9 months old.
Now about 7 years old.
Got me trained to take her places... post office, tennis court, Trader Joe's, nursing home, etc.

This is a guy that I see every summer when we visit Burlington, VT. All of the stuff works and he makes some listenable music. I always tip him well, mainly for his chutzpa.

Mine this week :D is a witty poke as a former musician.

It's from the face of an early 70's Marantz I was working on although I can't remember the exact model. Love the shepherd's cross style on these!
