What modern things do you hate/dislike?

TV is the most logical tool in the home to surveil what's going on in the home

our tv has never been connected to the internet nor has my avr, i see no need

UPDATE:

I just did a drill-down with my AI, and I now have a VERY complete picture regarding this TV spying sting being run on the population including me. AT the end, AI built me an alternative TV system, which is a bit more than buying a new TV, but can be made 100% private.

One of the interesting reveals was that big "smart TVs" are so cheap because it is SUBSIDIZED by advertising and data collection.

It feels like this "war" has so many fronts that it is impossible to fight. Sadly, all the negatives trace back to the "INTERNET" - so DARPA probably had a HUGELY ambitious, and highly deceptive, master plan for citizen surveillance in their heads when they designed this.

Today’s reality is that, when services are free (e.g. social media, search engines, …) or ridiculously cheap (in the case of spying TV’s), you are the product being sold.

I have two Roku TVs. Had to set the last one up online. They wanted a payment method but I declined since I won't be buying any content. I have both TVs set up to only use the antenna channels. Yeah, I can stream a whole bunch of other channels but I just don't do that.

Naturally, nothing is cheap without a reason; it comes at a different price.
