Perhaps this depends on the meaning of "loud" but more likely I am just getting old because I no longer like any music that is played loud enough to make normal conversation impossible. The songs I play the loudest have quiet parts, which really emphasizes the dynamic range. Stairway to Heaven comes to mind.
