Eh, the 2225 is a fine little receiver, listening to one right now.I just purchased a Marantz 2225 Receiver off of EBay …. I get it This coming Friday ! But after reading all the comments about the FM reception…… maybe I made a mistake, wish I would have found this Website sooner !

The Fishers showed up unboxed the box marked #1, everything was well package and survived the Fed Ex trip.

Some really premium tubes in these, hope they all test well.

ak has addressed this at least once in the few weeks I’ve been here. There may be other threads/methods to replicate the red chunk of the switch. So now the plan is to pull the power button and take it to a local 3d printer.

Yeah I went on a bit of a shopping spree lately. Midlife crisis I suppose. At least most of it was cheap. You sure are hauling a lot of gear home these days.
Search for threads on the ARXA. There are a a few simple mods/ and resrorations that can make these simple turntables really sing. There is a pretty solid following for these. They're simple and easy to restore and work on.Recently picked up an ARXA and a Pilot 140 W receiver from marketplace. They were $75 and $10, respectively. They both were a little nasty but are cleaning up nicely.
The AR sounds fantastic with the new stylus. The Pilot I now have working but it needs recapping and more cleaning. It was a console pull so needs a box too.
I currently have two Nodes, a Node X 10th Anniversary Edition in our living room system playing through a PS Audio DirectStream DAC. The Node Icon will take its place. In my office system, I have a Node 2i playing through a Topping D70. I'm thinking I'll move the the Node X into the office and rehome the 2i, but haven't fully decided yet.I have a Node Icon in my main system, it sounds great using the XLR connections. My Office system has a Node N132 and I have it running through a Schiit Mimir DAC as it sounds better than when using its built in DAC.
