What's the best looking DIGITAL receiver of all time?

I don't have a picture of the one I had, but, the Technics SA818 was pretty cool and enormous. With 110wpc!
I've always like the Pioneer elite receivers, here's my Sc-09 in all its digital glory. Next is my B&K 507s2 to me a solid clean look. Last is my Yamaha RXZ-1 I've always liked there clean yet bold looks. I vote for the RXZ-9 also but I can't find a picture of the one I owned.

McIntosh MAC 4280 is a favorite, love that first HeathKit digital, built one for a neighbor who didn't have time to finish it. Paid me well. Went to buy one, discontinued.

I've got the plus 130 and it is a beauty.In my opinion, the Sanyo Plus series receivers, they have a VFD that follows the dail pointer along the dail face which is pretty cool.

Those Pioneer Elites may be perhaps the best looking post 2000 receivers.
I agree there pretty damn sexy just wish they had better sound in 2ch, great sound in home theater just not my taste for 2ch listening, could be the class D amps I don't like, who knows, either way a damn good looking and beast of an Uber receiver.

Here's an XR55 with the "full digital amplifier" logo which has nothing to do with it's display. Totally reliable, mine has been in daily use for the last 10 years. It even has a handy bi-amp feature.

I agree, the JVC RX-1010V is pretty much the one that sets the bar. 
I've got a RX-1001V and here's a pic of its insane remote in pieces (leaking caps needed replacing)...
Full learning remote with customisable backlit touch screen LCD- all in 1989/90.
It is a beast.

I think the RX-1001V would set the record for the most number of buttons on any front panel, I'll dig out the front panel sometime- I never bothered to restore the unit after buying it cheap years ago. It has rosewood sides and is rather attractive IMO- if you like buttons and lots of VFD real estate.
If you like the 1010, check out the RX-1050!

Yeah I heard that the sound in 2 channel doesn't quite match the looks on these.
Yeah it was unfortunate, but I never would have known if I never tried it out. But it's been an interesting and fun quest going through all these Ubers.
