Anyone recall the Saturday morning 'toon based on the 1966 sci-fi film FANTASTIC VOYAGE? The one about the submarine which was shrunk to bacteria size and injected in that scientist's body?
The 'toon had the obligatory opening voiceover describing what the story was all about. TRIVIA: The opening voiceover was done by Ted Knight ("Ted Baxter" from the Mary Tyler Moore show).

FANTASTIC VOYAGE OH MY ...i do remember that show , although i would not have known that ted knight did the voice over , i was prolly to young to care or know who ted knight was .
 
All In The Family has got to be one of my favorites.

Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

Kind of a "chicken and the egg" question in my mind, but the S&S theme song has a 3:05 big brother called "The Streetbeater" as done by Quincy Jones. The chicken/egg question is this: What came first? Was the 60-second piece written for the show, then expanded because of the TV show's popularity or was it clipped from the Streetbeater song?
