What's your latest audio purchase?

Stumbled on a Sony TC-WA7es cassette deck like this one. Decent deck for a $7 investment.

Had my Thorens turntable tuned up by Vinyl Nirvana, dropped my JVC QL-A7 off to Vintage Turntable Restoration for a tonearm repair and a tune up. Purchased a Denon DL-103 cartridge for my JVC, and a Bren-1 record clamp.

It has been awhile for me, but my last audio purchase was the Opera PM-1 tube phone pre. Badly needed as my PV-12 is one of the model without one and really a delight to listen to. It has taken my vinyl experience to a much higher level than before.

In the cards very soon is a Revox B 795 TT to replace the Technics SP-15 destroyed by the firemen after the lightning strike at my house back in summer. Should be interesting!

Not to worry, I just got a second mortgage, eh home equity loan.

Got a pair of Phase Technology PC-80 bookshelfs. Great speakers, but I have to find replacement woofers, which won't be as fun.

I even passed on a couple receivers a couple days ago. Good ones! I must be learning...

Behringer Tube Ultraflex T1954 from AK'r 81spirit. A new "pro audio" toy to add some tube goodness to CD playback. It'll do lot's more, but I just got started with it last night.

Just picked up a Lafayette LR-5555A receiver for $60. It's in nice shape, built like a tank and sounds pretty sweet flat with a tiny bit of extra hi frequency zing from my EQ. A nice find for me.

My latest audio purchase was the first clock radio offered in Germany, a 1953 Telefunken "Jubilate Uhr".

Isen't that cute?

Actually, latest purchase was some 9x12" copper clad phenolic boards ... can never have enough of those. Oh, and some of these ...

Guess who's building a tube amp? Come on ... guess! :D

I found a pair of Klipsch KG4's in very good condition at a garage sale. Got them for $25.

EMOTIVA USP-D (I Wish )

I would buy this in a heartbeat if it existed. I don’t have room or money for usp-1 and xda-2

sKiZo? Your meters are probably seeing about as much use as my Ultraflex, which is to say very little. It's upstairs and the CD collection is in boxes downstairs until I get my listening room painted and some CD shelving in place. Just been too busy with other projects.

Is that "D" for Discontinued or Did not get into production or ??? What's the story on that one? I can't find anything on it. FWIW the USP-1 is worth saving up for if you can find the space by the next time it goes on sale.

That is because it is a complete fabrication on my part. I just Photoshoped the digital inputs from the xda2 onto the usp-1

A fully refurbished Audible Illusions Modulus 3A preamp. I have to thank Galen Carol for giving the chance to own this preamp.
