What's your latest audio purchase?

Technics SU-V75 amplifier. I got it cheap because it had a faulty power switch. Lucky for me there is an electronics store here that sells the exact replacement switch. Took me all of ten minutes to fix.

Just got a Denon TU-460 tuner. It is supposed to sound great according to the FM Tuner Info site. It does sound good but to me my old Technics ST-Z35 analog tuner sounds better. Oh well, it looks really nice.

Picked up a McCormack Micro Phono Drive just before Christmas. It will be competing with a Dynavector P-75 in my home office headphone rig.

I installed a Tascam CD-RW900SL today but haven't recorded anything to it yet since today is also the day I finally unpacked and set up my main system. It's been disassembled since August while we moved into a new house and sold the old one. My wife agreed, Allison Krause sounded very nice in our new home. Once I finish aligning the turntable I'll open my Christmas Vinyl and record copies for the garage and car. It is a happy new year.

CIAudio DAC and optical interconnect. CIAudio phono stage with separate outboard power supply is on the way. Power supply will work with either CIAudio component I have.

180 lb polk monsters in my avatar. It was within a hair of being a tubed Raysonic 168 cd player just yesterday. Damned priorities.

Were do I start. I have been on a buying binge. 1983 Klipsch Cornwall I's, McIntosh MC275 IV, Technics SL1200, Denon DL-103R with step up transformer, a complete set of vintage tubes for an MX110, a wood case for an MX110 (thanks dshoaf), complete set of new tubes for 2 McIntosh MC40 amps, and a set of new/vintage tubes for the MC275 IV. Oh, I forgot, 2 Telefunken 12AU7's. (thanks Stephen J) Barter Town; subscribe and check it out.

In all fairness only the Klipsch speakers, McIntosh MC275 and it's tube compliment are for me. The rest is for a friend that is just getting into the sound of good audio gear. Since he bought my old system I am finally going to get to hear it more than when it was in my house. I Can't wait. :D

I am in audio buying heaven now, but soon I will be in listening heaven. That is what it is all about isn't it?

Good gosh, 180 pounds! I bet you do not move them around much.

Surprisingly I have moved them around a lot. They're very placement fussy which I never would've believed if I hadn't heard it firsthand. All is good now and I believe they're ready for spikes which will put an end to the moving:yes:.

I bet your back is happy.

A pair of DCM Time Windows. Didn't really have any use for them, but I've always wanted a pair and they do sound great.

Just picked up a Proton 440 tuner last night. I really like it. Pairs well with my Nad 5000 cd player and 602 cassette deck. Clean sound. Looks better than in the picture. Only 25 bucks....I think I got a good deal.

An audio switch in my brain that allows for "Music Enjoyment Only." The inevitable "Audiophile" switch has been disabled and expoxy'd. :D

My last "strictly audio" purchase was my JL Audio F113 subs but the iMac I bought 2 months ago seems to be the latest audio purchase.......
