The CT-F1250 (1979) is a evolutioned CT-F1000(1976) with better electronics, better transport, totally new function buttons layout, new displays and digital counter. But with specifications just a little better.
Sonically the CT-F1250 wins, though it's an old deck esaily beaten by a decent modern three head deck.

But from a collector's point of view, the CT-F1000 is as appreciated as the later model. eBay auctions get similar prices on both models.
