Which Speakers are you using with McIntosh Integrated?

Vintage Cornwall’s. Went from a ma6500 to a ma6900 up until last weekend I got to demo at home the new MA252 hybrid integrated amp. I did through listening all last weekend and had already pulled out about 50 eclectic and varied albums to throw at this sucka. It really grew on me, I was really surprised as I was sure the power of the 6900 would immediately smoke it, but there’s something about it that really attracted me to it’s sound. Some really dislike the looks, I wasn’t too hot for it at first but love it now... needless to say I took the display amp back to the shop today and walked out with a new one and I’m listening to it now and loving it. It goes very well with da Corns.

My gifted to me, 24/7/365 powered MA 6100 driving a pair of Minimus 7`s and a mid 80s passive Cerwin Vega 12" subwoofer in my workshop.
Works and sounds quite well for that application.

After lots of research and auditioning, I ordered a pair of Sonus faber Sonetto V floorstanding speakers to use with my McIntosh MAC7200 stereo receiver.
They are scheduled to arrive in about two weeks.

Only the MAC 1700 driving Pioneer PAX-30G's in fancy cabinets.
I had a Chinese integrated featuring a pair of 211 tubes in an SET circuit, driving a pair of completely re-done Green Mountain Audio 4 - ways from the early
Nineties. The SET amp is FUBAR and the speakers are in storage because they are too big for my current living situation and weigh 350 lbs in their crate.
I am enjoying the way my MAC 1700 reproduces Sixties Rock, but when it comes to female Jazz singers, which are several of my reference recordings, there is something lacking, I can't tell if it's the receiver or the speakers.
Green Mountain Audio is owned by former nuclear research physicist, Roy Johnson, who for his second career chose to manufacture audio loudspeakers.
Roy came up with some excellent designs, but unfortunately was incapable of running a profitable company, sadly dozens of investors have lost money that they really couldn't afford to lose.
Many of his designs, like my speakers, are time aligned and phase coherent, which is a fancy way of saying the entire frequency curve hits your ears at the correct time. Investors were drawn in by "Roy Magic", but you can't keep running a company without making a profit.
The MAC 1700 got me back into audio.

The McIntosh MA6900 is an amazing choice! No DAC or firmware . I’m looking to buy one :). It has advanced tone controls like you’d see on a McIntosh C33 and a whopping 200 watts, which is PLENTY, as I can only tolerate 5-10 watts in my listening room.

I just recently ordered the MA8900 to replace my Yamaha A-S2100 in my main system. I love the Yammy & I'm going to move it to another system in the house. I have the KEF R11's in my main system and I think the MA8900 will be a better fit with these new KEF's and their differences vs. the KEF R900's they replaced.

A couple of years ago, it was a MAC 4100 driving Focal Aria 936's. Now, it's an MA 7900 driving the Focals. On some music the Focals over power my smallish room and I take them out and put in KEF LS50's.

I made the move from a Yamaha A-S2000 to a McIntosh MA5200 maybe two years ago for my office system. Totally great decision. I almost replaced the MA5200 a month or so ago for a MAC6700 but decided the MA5200 just sounded too good to remove it.
