Really Chris? I like you and most Germans I have met in person more than I like most of my fellow Americans. The grass is always greener....
Perhaps I should have been a bit more precisely. Actually I mean the people I met in German Hifi forums. There were so many disrespectful, arrogant and else unpleasant people that I left around eight German forums until 2012 and found my "home" here at Audiokarma. The strict moderation over here is a blessing for me.

... it seems like it was always part of me.
On the onset, I came for A/V tech help, which later led to music, and after that, the social aspect of this community site.
Of all places that I visit online, AK has become my "Go To" world, wherein I find respect, knowledge and an expanded friendship circle like no other.
Not sure how I would handle the loss of this audio-world. There def would be a "hole" in my heart.

With me it started in 2002 when this place opened right down the street from me. I was constantly searching for info on new to me vintage gear. What fun times they were.
