Ever take economics? This is a textbook case of the efficient market theory. Basically as soon as a security (or speaker) mispricing is detected, the market will correct it by someone buying the security that's mispriced, and selling it at the prevailing market price. Gotta love capitalism.

I just picked up what I believe to be a JBL C38 from CL yesterday! One only.

I definitely WILL NOT be flipping it!

I believe that is my mom's cousin. This is actually what he does for most of the money he makes. His job doesn't pay a lot so he flips audio gear on ebay.

Wonder if a damp cloth would make the cabinets look any better? Not much other than picking up the units and taking a few pics and posting an ad. Maybe with the profit he can get a camera that does macro a bit better so the labels are legible.

I talked to that guy Tuesday but decided to pass. I am glad somebody got it with plans on using it. I was going to flip it as I recently picked up a set of JBL's with the 002 system same as yours but with D131 woofers instead of D123. They weren't JBL cabs but still a very nice sounding system, very efficient.:thmbsp:
