There should be a law against doing something like this. Anyone who does something like this should not even be able to own audio equipment. Nice try at $99, he will be lucky to get $10. WTF is right!

So for the Klipsch-ignorant among us (that'd be me) Are those woofers on the back of the cabs? (As opposed to photos of a secod set of speakers?)

The main problem is that the horns are missing. If you look past those horrendous looking non-original tweeters, you're actually looking inside the cabinet at the padding.

The big woofer-looking things on the back are passive radiators. Basically a woofer with nothing but a cone and no guts. It allows the pressure to increase and decrease inside the cabinet without the need for a port.

That's the ABR. The system uses two 8-inch woofers, as shown, but those are not the original woofers. Further, the ABR principle only works when the cabinet is otherwise sealed, as obviously it is not.

That really looks like a TRS Mach 2 tweeter. Awesome.

I had a set of these, and while I was not entirely impressed with them, they certainly don't deserve that!

Thanks for the explanations. I get it now.
The listing title should start with the adjective "molested"

RS sold that tweeter as a seperate to, it's really not a bad tweeter, but certainly not deserving of it's current application.

And that passive radiator is going to be really passive since there won't be much in the way of pressure differences to drive it, since its now a ported speaker...
